One of the most challenging tasks in the world is buying a gift for a guy who says he doesn’t want anything. Obviously, you have to get them something. You can’t show up empty handed! Christmas, birthdays, Hanukkah, anniversaries, it’s difficult to decide what to get the person who wants nothing at each occasion. This list will go through tons of gift ideas for men. Whether you’re shopping for your dad, boyfriend, brother, cousin, uncle, etc, you should be able to find at least one thing that will be appealing to them! Hopefully this guide will help you shop for all the men in your life with ease. Let’s get into it!
Legos
One of the best gift ideas for men are Legos! It’s impressive how so many men of all ages still enjoy building Legos. Obviously, see if this is something the man you are shopping for would like. Fortunately, Legos have been popular for decades and have a broad range of things to build. From the bat mobile, to the millennium falcon, to a formula one car, it’s likely you can find something that matches their interests! Get him his own Porsche 911 or favorite sports stadium
Electric Screwdriver – $50
For any man who likes/has to fix things, a new tool that makes life much easier and more efficient can be a fun gift. One that’s been trending online is an electric screwdriver. The top or case contains a ton of bits of different shapes and sizes. You charge it with a USB and voila, no need for a drill! If the man you’re buying for is handy or a DIY king, this could be a great gift idea.
A Speaker – JBL($65+) or Record Player ($80)
My mom bought a speaker for my brother a few Christmases ago and he still uses it all the time. He uses it to listen to music while working out in the basement, while in the shower, or at the beach. JBL’s are great because they easily sync up with other JBL speakers. If they care for how the speaker looks, take a peak at this one that looks like a record player!
Airtag with a Keychain – $35+
If this man in your life is constantly losing things, an Airtag could be a perfect gift. I personally think anyone could benefit from having one! I have one I keep in my suitcase when I travel, so I can find my bags if they get lost. Additionally I would love to add one to my keys or to keep in my purse. You can get an Airtag for $29 and a case for as low as $5!
Decanter for their favorite alcohol/beverage – $50+
If the man you’re buying for has a favorite drink they’re passionate about, a decanter can be a great gift! While traditionally for whiskey, it can be used to showcase any beverage. It’s a fancy way to put it on display, whether it’s on your bar or filled with water on your nightstand. The first picture on the left is a fancy looking one from Crate and Barrel. The one on the left you can personalize with the name of who you’re buying for!
Beer Brewing Kit – $50+
This is a great gift idea for men who enjoy beer! If the man you’re shopping for is an IPA fanatic, look no further. Beer brewing can be a fun pastime or experiment to do together.
ABC Pants from Lululemon – $128
Men rave about this line of pants from Lululemon. The ABC, funnily enough, stands for “anti-ball crushing.” These pants are extremely comfortable. They are a more athletic material yet some look like dress pants. Also, they come in joggers, sweatpants, and everyday pants. These are one of the best gift ideas for men on this list! No matter how dressy the product you pick is, this will be an elevated basic the man you’re buying for will always reach for!
Cologne Sampler Set – $60+
To make this man feel special or fancy, a great gift can be a cologne sampler! With a sampler, they can try out a few different scents and decide which is their favorite. I included two here, one with Tom Ford colognes. The other is from Sephora and has the most popular colognes they smell. Additionally, with the Sephora sampler, you get a voucher to get a full size of the favorite cologne at no cost!
Ember Warming Mug – $150
This super cool and high tech gift is a warming mug that you can control! From the app that goes with it, you can pick the exact temperature that you prefer. The mug keeps your drink at that temperature for 80 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on which size you purchase. For the avid coffee or tea drinkers in your life, this could be a life changing gift!
Oura Ring or Garmin Watch – $250+
For the health focused men in your life, or ones that want to enter that era of their life in the new year, a fitness gadget could be a great gift! Fortunately, there are many of these on the market. If they are more of a watch wearer, a Garmin watch is a great idea. I normally see these more so being worn by people into running. An Apple watch could be a good idea as well.
On the other hand, an Oura ring or Ultrahuman ring could be cool as well. It depends on the person you’re buying for to which they would benefit from most! All of these track your movement and your sleep. The watches have a small touch screen which is great for leaving your phone behind and still getting notifications.
Abercrombie Vintage Sweatshirt – $80+
Recently, Abercrombie has been killing it in their sweatshirt game. They’ve been releasing vintage looking sweatshirts that have great designs and are super soft. Many of them are sports related, but there are tons that aren’t as well. If this man you’re shopping for loves a certain team or place, odds are you can get them a nice sweatshirt with that theme!
Ugg Slippers
As it gets colder out, a great gift idea for men is to get them slippers! The Ugg Tasman slippers have been a big hit lately. I got mine about 5 years ago and they’re in great condition still. Personally, my dad is always wearing slippers when it gets cold out, but will never go out of his way to buy new ones. Even when they are ratty and ready to retire, so buying the men in your life slippers can be a great present. If you don’t want to invest into the Ugg ones, Target always has great slippers too.
Electronic Picture Frame – $60
An adorable gift for any loved one, no matter the age, is an electronic picture frame. You can send pictures to the frame, and it’ll rotate through all the photos. This is great especially for an older family member or to put on the desk at work.
Sword/Grappling hook/Night vision goggles
This is the gift that my 21 year old brother asks for every year, another sword. As I scoured the internet to create this list, all of the videos made by men included some kind of spy gear or weapon. My brothers and cousins all pretend to spar at any given family function with the weapons they’ve bought. If you’re searching for a gift for someone in their late teens or 20s, this is probably something that will make them very happy.
Something related to their hobby/favorite sport
One of the best gift ideas for men is something personal to them, that shows you truly thought about them! Think about what they do weekly or enjoy as a pastime and get them something related to that. Is there a brand new high tech golf club that would make them super excited? A new workout bag or lifting straps for the gym? Is there a new hobby they want to pick up that you can help them get into? Like buying boxing gloves or a private introduction session? Has their favorite book series come out in a beautiful limited edition color set? Is the new version of their favorite video game coming out soon? This one is more up to you to decide. Look at what they like and find something that fits the theme.
Conclusion
This has been a culmination of the best gift ideas for men across many platforms online! Hopefully, this either helped you pick something, or got your mind churning to come up with a great present idea more related to them and what they like!
